Justine and Mikael are a couple that love to laugh. You might remember them from their Ballard Locks engagement session from this spring where they laughed and joked through that entire shoot too!
They got married a couple weekends ago on one of our lovely 90 degree days down in Seatac. The weekend before was 60 and raining, so I think everyone was a bit shocked by the heat wave, but these two ran with it and had a couple of ice packs on hand to cool down during portraits.
They chose the beautiful Seatac Botanical Gardens to have their wedding, which was a new venue for me. It was blooming and beautiful and provided a great background for pictures and for their ceremony. I loved how the day was infused with their personality, from putting on sunglasses and dancing back down the aisle after the ceremony, to dancing into their reception to the tunes of “Praise You” by Fat Boy Slim at the Alki Masonic Lodge.
Justine and Mikael are so much fun to be around, and you can tell they will be laughing into the years together![]()
Congrats you two!

Yep, that’s an ice pack attacking our bride in the above picture![]()

And, I loved that they forgot the garter, so they improvised with A LOT of tool…. I don’t think those single boys knew what to do with that flying in the air to them…
