When I get invited into a clients home for the first time, the first thing that I notice are the photographs on their walls. It's a glimpse into the story of their lives and what is important to them most. It's usually the moments they treasure...

Pictures are what tie us to each other and to our pasts. So, it's A LOT of fun to be invited into an important moment in clients lives to capture it for them and help shape the memories of this time in their lives.

The first time my brides see their groom, and the look on his face (when he realizes what a catch he has!), to the moment you see a new dad's finger get embraced by his newborn daughters little fist (and he realizes he will never be able to say no to any of her wants).
It's in these little moments that life is made... It's all about love, life and all the little things.

I promise to provide fun photography, an attempt at witty commentary, and occasionally confusing grammar (and yes I had to look up how to spell that...) as if I mess up when I talk, I might as well be as entertaining while I write too :P

Hitched | West Seattle, WA | Emma + Owen

The other weekend, I joined Emma, Owen and their family to share in their wedding. The day was beautiful, summer finally deciding to arrive, and HOT! It was at the end of the heat wave we had, and we were all excited for this beautiful outdoor wedding at the Hall at Fauntleroy.

Emma and Owen, whom you might remember from their Seattle engagement session a couple of months back, have been together for something like 6 years now. They met in college; Owen, a junior on the swim team, noticed this cute freshman girl in the pool, got up the nerve to go and talk to her. Luckily she was intrigued, and 6+ years later they are walking down the aisle together.
Their connection is super strong, and their obvious love for each other was shining through the day. We started out at South Lake Union at the Residence Inn. Once Emma and Owen had their first site and a moment together, we all piled into a limo to make our way to West Seattle. Stopping by Alki beach on our way to Lincoln Park for some photos in the sun. We ended at the Hall at Fauntleroy for their out door ceremony. Because of the heat, we also moved the dancing outside late in the night!
