  • it’s the little things…

    I'm a bit goofy and always ready to have a good time - I love making clients laugh...it just so happens it's usually at me and some random thing I am doing to get "the shot" - If it's nice outside, I guarantee I will be found sitting in a patch of sunlight soaking in the rays - I tend to miss speak right when I am trying to be sassy, ... so I just end up sounding silly - I love all the noises a new baby makes be it cute or gross - My socks never match and I am proud of it - I avoid cleaning the bathroom like it's the plague. It comes from growing up with two brothers and always being on bathroom duty - I found out the hard way that garlic does NOT compliment everything... and now my husband doesn't let me in the kitchen unsupervised - I still get giddy and jittery before every wedding I photograph - I once thought the biggest gift of being self employed was making my own hours, now I know it's the luxury it gives me to raise my son (born April 2011) without the need of daycare - I love riding my bike, but don't have the constitution to make myself work out regularly - I believe that following your dream is not the easiest path but is definitely the most rewarding one. My dreams since I was 18 was to find the man of my dreams (check), raise a family (check) and create images for a living (check) - oh... and if you want to make me laugh, tell me a poop joke. Works EVERY time.

I love being inspired

I love waking up in the middle of the night, my mind rushing because of a new idea for my shoot the next day

I love telling Pete (the hub) of something (usually scary) that I want to do in my business and having him not even blink before standing behind me 100%

I love having dinner at my parents house and sitting around for hours afterward talking, debating and laughing

I love spending time with my nieces and watching them grow

I love seeing my brothers happy with their other halves

I love laughing until my stomach hurts

I especially love laughing about how awkward people get when poop is mentioned

I love girls night

I love my Tucson people that I don’t get to see very often

I love the community of photographers I am part of here in Seattle

I love learning new knowledge and helping spread it to others and seeing their eyes light up like I know mine did

I love mis-matched socks

I love the passion Pete has for his job

I love sleeping… ask anyone. I can sleep any time anywhere.

I love zelda… but I won’t let myself play it. I am smart enough to know what a downfall that is for working at home and actually being productive

I love  Apple products. All of them. I would probably own the iPad too, even though the name is ridiculous

I love scratch tickets as it fills me with moments of pure excitement at the possibility of winning lots of money (never happens though *sad* )

I love meeting clients that I totally click with

I love when I take a picture and my entire soul sings because I know its going to be awesome

I love business books. I don’t know why

I love setting goals and seeing them made

I love love love love love love love love love sunshine

I love high heels, as long as I don’t have to walk in them

I love my bike. I can’t wait to ride STP this year

I love NPR. I’m an addict, and they are right… if you donate during the pledge drive, you do listen differently

I love the smell of rain coming. You can smell the rain coming every time in Tucson… not so much in Seattle though

I love date night.

I love life, love and all the little things:)

I don’t know what inspired me to write this, but when I started this post, this is just what my fingers started to do…

Gina B - Reading this post just reminds me of how much I Love You! Seeing the picture of your nieces totally brings back pictures of you at that age (God you can totally tell who they belong with! BEAUTIFUL!
