Last week the AGC (Assosiated General Contractors) of Washington had their yearly award ceremony for all of their members .The awards are given for different catagories of excellance in work for builders and contractors. This year they held the awards at Kane Hall at the UW.



The speaker for the night was Dave Ross of KIRO Radio. He had a great speal about Bernie Madoff…

There were about 20 awards and then 4 grand awards. The AGC gives awards for such things as safety excellance, best new building, coming in under budget/time,  outstanding general contractor over 400,000 worker hours and other such awards. The four major awards were:
the AGC/Moss Adams Community Service Award for BNBuilders.

The Safety Excellance grand winner award had a tie this year, so they gave two.
One to Aecon Buildings, Inc.

and to Sicklesteel Cranes, Inc

And the final award for overall Contstruction Excellance went to Lease Crutcher Lewis for their renovation of Garfield High School.
